Royal Run is a 3D endless runner game built in Unity, where players control a king sprinting down an endless path emerging from the mist. Rather than focusing on distance, the game challenges players to survive against the clock.
Key features include:
Survival Timer Mechanic: The game starts with a 30-second timer. Players must reach checkpoints to gain +5 seconds and prolong their run.
Dynamic Platform Pooling: Endless platforms are spawned and reused efficiently, creating a seamless running experience.
Fog-based Obstacle Spawning: Obstacles and challenges emerge from a dense fog, keeping players alert and engaged.
Smooth Character Animations: The king’s movements and reactions are fully animated for a polished gameplay feel.
Royal Run highlights my work with procedural systems, performance optimization via object pooling, and integrating time-based survival mechanics. It’s a fast, fun project that combines visual appeal with technical design to keep players engaged through strategic movement and quick reflexes.
